Hey look, a bunch of racist pricks.

Why is no one reblogging this? This needs more notes…

Fuck your racist cracker asses

fuck you all

I hope we NEVER become a state

but it’s true though. I mean, none of their remarks were racist or partaining to culture. We have a lot of people on welfare ??? ?? ? It’s the truth?? Do not deny it.

There are other tweets that are in fact racist, but these are not. They don’t think the U.S needs more debt… what’s wrong with that?

Critical thinking time!

Assuming someone was ignorant of the fact that Puerto Rico already factors into the U.S. budget on both the revenue and expenditure side, can you think of a non-racist reason for them to believe that Puerto Rico’s entrance into the union would increase the deficit or increase the percentage of people on welfare rather than introducing new revenue (more people and businesses paying taxes) along with new expenditures on a similar proportion to the continental United States?

(Teacher’s key: No.)

As if you need to see more racists….but hey look they hate Puerto Ricans too!

you fucking kidding me

Imma just put this thing I found somewhere on the Internet:

Those of you who speak of Puerto Rico and Puerto Ricans with such hate… do you know the history of the U.S.?

You speak as if the condition that Puerto Rico lives in was something born out of a freeloaders wet dream.

Was it Puerto Rico’s idea to start a war with Spain in 1898 to become a Colonial Power and acquire Cuba, Philipines, Guam and PR accepting under the treaty of paris FULL responsibility for the new territories and its peoples? NO…right?
Did American Sugar companies come into Puerto Rico and exploit Puerto Rican workers?… who worked from sun to sun? yes.

The same US citizenship “granted” by congress in 1917 meant that a month later 20,000 Spanish Speaking “Porto Ricans” were drafted to fight in the trenches in WW1. The lack of English wasn’t an impediment for the draft. Ever since then Puerto Ricans have defended American Democracy while the US maintains PR a colony. Not very democratic is it?

Have Puerto Ricans said NO to fulfilling their obligation as Americans to fight in US wars/ conflicts/ police actions when Welfare didn’t exist and afterwards? NO..

Look up the history of the 65th Infantry regiment that has fought in every US WAR.
Puerto Rican infantry regiments were also sent to the Western Front (WW1), including the 396th Infantry Regiment of Puerto Rico, created in New York City, whose members earned the nickname Harlem Hell Fighters.

On February 12, 1951, General Douglas MacArthur, wrote in Tokyo:

The Puerto Ricans forming the ranks of the gallant 65th Infantry give daily proof on the battlefields of Korea of their courage, determination and resolute will to victory, their invincible loyalty to the United States and their fervent devotion to those immutable principles of human relations which the Americans of the Continent and of Puerto Rico have in common. They are writing a brilliant record of heroism in battle and I am indeed proud to have them under my command. I wish that we could count on many more like them.

Hell, have Puerto Ricans gone to Canada to dodge the Draft? NO.
Did the US government conduct Medical experiments with Puerto Rican woman testing contraceptives on female children during the 20th century which caused sterility and cancers? YES.
Did the US test Napalm in the Yunque? Yes.
Has the US Navy used Vieques, Culebra and other small islands part of Puerto Rico to practice with radioactive ordinance which the Navy will not clean up? YES.

Under section 936 of the US tax code US companies in Puerto Rico used the TAX loop for years to not pay any taxes on the earnings they made elsewhere and funneled BILLIONS in profits for their pockets while paying the minimum wage to workers here. American companies have gotten MEGA rich off of Puerto Rican sweat in pharmaceuticals and other companies like Coca Cola.
You do know that for decades NASA has been recruiting the best and brightest Engineers that graduate from the the R.U.M. in Mayaguez right?

The US government has benefited from the relationship most times to the detriment of the locals. Also, don’t talk like Puerto Rico is a place full of lazy fokers who are all looking to get a free meal. Most work, are honest, church going people, who have never taken public assistance, are highly educated, pay taxes, have completed tours of duty protecting a Nation that feels that is ok for Puerto Ricans to die for them, while being 2nd class citizens, and feels that the Blood Sacrifices of Puerto Ricans laid on the Altar of Liberty are not deemed worthy enough to consider statehood an option to this 114 year old COLONIAL dilemma.

This opinion is a little to pro America, but it’s essentially the truth. Over 50% of the population are below the poverty line…myself included. Please keep in mind that to live below the poverty line your annual income has to be below a certain level, right? A lot of people are like me, underemployed but too employed for welfare. So we have a high percentage of people who are poor yet unable to benefit from welfare. OH WAIT ISN’T THAT A LOT LIKE YOU YOUNG WHITE AMERICANS OVER THERE RIGHT NOW?

Sorry, caps lock I didn’t mean to offend your feelings. Anyhow, I cannot find the original source right now for the fucking life of me, but asides all that bullshit the US has done to us, on top of that they took a prominent pro-independence leader, Pedro Albizu Campo, and said HEY WE’RE GONNA DO NUCLEAR EXPERIMENTS ON YOU WHILE LOCKED UP and then totally denied it. ps he wasn’t the only one. Then a couple a doctors went and said, you know we like our white American women. But we have this birth control pill we want to test. LETS TEST IT ON THE PUERTO RICANS SINCE THEY’RE INFERIOR AND WE DON’T WANT THEM TO BREED ANYWAY.

This definitely doesn’t have a source, but I remember the story clearly from my Spanish teacher in high school. Our national tree is the flamboyan. But the tree apparently isn’t originally from here. It was planted by the Americans to make our island more attractive to the US because they thought it might be a good idea to make this a vacation spot. Oh wait what about, you know, THE PEOPLE ALREADY LIVING HERE?

Seriously, you racist fucks can toss yourselves off cliffs for all I fucking care.

And FULLY KNOWING ALL OF THIS INFORMATION, because it is taught to us in HIGH SCHOOL, there are dozens of Puerto Ricans who are still willing to become a state. FULLY AWARE of the multiple times the US has figuratively SPIT in their faces, clearly not wanting anything to do with them.

~Bragging Time~

The reason my husband joined the ARMY was to obviously afford a better lifestyle for our child. Do you realize the hate I got for it from fellow Puerto Ricans (and friends)? Saying that I was going to be literally “living off the government” for joining the ARMY lifestyle? How big of a mistake it was? What the wonderful Puerto Ricans don’t know is that being in the ARMY is just another job with a regular paycheck. We’re broke half the time. And you know what’s hilarious? We are eligible for welfare. THAT’S how wonderful our paycheck is.

But you know what’s cool, though? Out of all the people my husband joined the army with, he was the first one to get promoted. Then, once that happened, and he kept striving in his job, he was the first one among his team mates in the company, also the first one on our block, to get to SGT rank. He’s only been in the army for three years, he’s a Puerto Rican, his english isn’t the best, and he’s made it to SGT before any of his other fellow American team mates. That’s how high-speed Puerto Ricans can be. Also, be wary, that he has been screwed over, ESPECIALLY FOR HIS PROMOTION, on grounds that we clearly know are racism. But what did he do? He turned the other cheek, and kept fighting. Because that’s how Puerto Ricans are used to dealing with constant underestimation.

And my stand in all of this? I do NOT want my precious island to become a state. It doesn’t deserve it. It’s been through enough, don’t you think?

people are assholes get the fuck over it
